Bible verses - worth considering
Declare His glory among the heathen, his wonders among all people.
Psalm 96:3
Blessed be the Lord God, the God of Israel, who alone does wondrous
things.
Psalm 72:18
I make a decree, that in every dominion of my kingdom men tremble and
fear before the God of Daniel: for He is the living God, and steadfast for
ever, and His Kingdom that which shall not be destroyed, and His dominion
shall be even unto the end. He delivers and rescues, and He perfoms signs
and wonders in heaven and in earth, who has delivered Daniel from the power
of the lions. So this Daniel prospered in the reign of Darius, and in the
reign of Cyrus the Persian.
Daniel 6:26-28
And fear came upon every soul: and many wonders and signs were done by
the Apostles.
Acts 2:43
Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but
inwardly they are ravening wolves. You shall know them by their fruits. Do
men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? Even so every good tree
brings forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree brings forth evil fruit, neither
can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. Every tree that not brings forth
good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. Wherefore by their fruits
you shall know them.
Not everyone that say unto Me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the Kingdom of
Heaven; but he that does the will of My Father which is in Heaven. Many will
say to Me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name? And
in Your name have cast out devils? And in your name done many wonderful
works? And then will I tell them, I never knew you: depart from Me, you that
work iniquity.
Matthew 7:15-23
For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew
great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall
deceive the very elect.
Matthew 24:24
And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they
should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not
contain the books that should be written. Amen.
John 21:25
God really likes to do wonders in our lives, but we must in this end
of times be aware of false Apostles and Prophets. Christians can have
wonders in their lives but still be false.
Read clearly
If there arise among you a prophet, or that dreamer of dreams: for the
Lord your God proves you, to know whether you love the Lord your God with
all your heart and with all your soul. You shall walk after the Lord your
God, and fear him, and keep His commandments, and obey His voice, and you
shall serve Him, and cleave unto Him. And that Prophet, or that dreamer of
dreams, shall be put to death; because He has spoken to turn you away from
the Lord your God, which brought you out of the land of Egypt, and redeemed
you out of the house of bondage, to thrust you out of the way which the Lord
your God commanded you to walk in. So shall you put the evil away from the
midst of you.
Deuteronomy 13:1-5
(Of course, we shall not kill false
prophets, because Jesus took away the death sentence in The New Testament -
John 8:7)
